Venice at night

I stood on a small bridge that overlooked an alley canal in the back of our hotel and sketched this. It smelled a little like rotting fish but it was so romantically lit! There were steps that led into the water and as I was sketching a couple stood on those steps and kissed passionately. Then a group of drunk people tried to organize their plans right next to them so they left. how inconsiderate, they were having such a romantic moment! it was pretty funny to watch the awkwardness though haha. I was captivated by the excitement of discovery in Venice, What's behind this corner? How about this one? Such beauty!
