Have you ever had a certain art supply that was just so pristine and beautiful * cough expensive* that you just hoped to god that whatever you did with it would do it justice and not have been a waste of the product? I've long surpassed this point with my colored pencil set and now am experiencing the feeling with my gouache. this was the only real finished piece i have ever created with the set but I am in love with this media. I wish I could just prove Im worthy of using it. every time I want to it looks at me with that "are you ready" look and I second guess my idea, usually I end up using my cheap watercolor buttons or colored pencils. from this point on I will take risks and use my gouache
